50+ cross-docks · 14,000+ cargo vans and box trucks · 98.2% on-time · 99.2% damage-free
Furniture, appliance, and retail brands run their big-and-bulky final mile on the Warp network
What a dedicated program unlocks
For heavy, oversized items — the 50-to-500 lb pieces between parcel and full truckload — final mile is where the customer experience is won or lost. A dedicated Warp program turns it into an advantage: freight moves through the cross-dock network and dispatches on right-sized cargo vans and box trucks, so every delivery lands on an appointment your customer planned around, placed in the room they chose, tracked the whole way.
Dedicated drivers learn your products and your standards. Your team books, tracks, and proves delivery in one dashboard or through the API — and the program scales metro by metro as your volume grows, without over-paying for a full truck or jamming oversized freight into a parcel network it was never built for.
How it works
1. Freight arrives at nearest Warp cross-dock
Inbound shipments consolidate at the closest cross-dock to the delivery area. No long-haul linehaul required if you're already in the region.
2. Sorted and staged for local delivery route
Freight is organized by delivery zone and sequenced for efficient routing. Each stop is planned before the truck leaves the dock.
3. Dispatched on right-sized vehicle
Cargo vans for lighter bulky items. Box trucks for heavier freight. You don't pay for capacity you don't use.
4. Delivered with scan-level POD and real-time tracking
Every delivery gets photo proof of delivery, scan confirmation, and live tracking your team and your customers can see.
What you get
White-glove capable
Threshold delivery, room of choice, and two-person teams when the item requires it. Your customer doesn't have to figure out how to move a 300 lb piece of furniture from the curb.
Right-sized vehicles = lower cost
Cargo vans and box trucks cost less than full truckload and deliver faster than LTL terminal networks. You pay for what you actually need.
Same-day and next-day options
When freight is already at a local cross-dock, same-day and next-day delivery windows are standard. Not a premium add-on.
Real-time tracking and proof of delivery
Live GPS tracking, photo POD, and scan confirmation on every stop. Your ops team sees it. Your customer sees it. No black holes.

Frequently asked questions
How do we launch a dedicated big-and-bulky program with Warp?
Book a strategy call. Warp reviews your SKUs, delivery metros, volume, and your install-partner setup, then designs a dedicated program: locked rates, dedicated drivers assigned via Work Queue, appointment windows that align to your customers and install partners, and live GPS plus photo POD in your dashboard or via API. First deliveries typically run within weeks of the call, and the program expands metro by metro as volume grows.
What does dedicated final-mile capacity unlock for a furniture or appliance brand?
A delivery experience your customers actually feel: two-man crews, liftgate, and inside delivery to the room of choice instead of a box left at the curb, with appointment windows they can plan around and tracking they can watch. Dedicated drivers learn your products and standards, so damage stays at 99.2% damage-free and on-time holds at 98.2% even as you scale across metros — turning final mile from a support cost into a reason customers buy the big item from you again.
Does Warp do white glove delivery?
Yes — Warp handles the freight + in-home placement portion of white glove delivery. Two-man crew, liftgate on every 26ft truck, inside delivery to room of choice, photo POD with signature. Warp does NOT provide assembly of new items, disassembly of old items, or installation (electrical, plumbing, gas hookups). Your retailer or install partner handles install as a separate service. This split lets the install partner specialize while Warp scales the freight + placement leg.
Does Warp do furniture assembly or appliance installation?
No. Warp covers freight pickup, transport, and in-home or commercial placement. Assembly, installation, and any work that requires hooking up electrical, plumbing, or gas systems are not provided. Most big-and-bulky retailers run install through their own crews or specialty install partners; Warp is the freight + placement layer underneath that.
What does Warp big-and-bulky include?
Pickup at your warehouse, DC, or dock. Transport via dedicated 26ft box truck or cargo van depending on load size. Two-man crew on heavier items. Liftgate at delivery (standard on box trucks). Inside delivery to the customer's room of choice. Photo proof of delivery and electronic signature. Live GPS in your dashboard or via API. Appointment delivery windows aligned to your customer or install partner schedule.
What kind of products fit big-and-bulky?
Furniture (sofas, beds, dining sets, office furniture), mattresses, appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers — Warp delivers but does not install), fitness equipment, big-and-tall e-commerce items, retail fixtures, hotel and hospitality FF&E, and any oversized item too big for a parcel carrier but too small to need a full truckload.
Can I run big-and-bulky as a one-off or do I need a contract?
Most brands start with a focused pilot on a few metros and SKUs, then expand into a full dedicated program — no all-or-nothing contract up front. Book a strategy call and Warp scopes the right starting point with locked rates, dedicated drivers via Work Queue, and multi-metro coverage that grows with your volume.
