Warp LTL Tariff: Version 1.2

Section 1: General Provisions

Item 100: Governing Publications

This tariff governs all LTL shipments transported by Warp unless superseded by agreement. External LTL carriers' published rules apply when they handle freight.

Item 110: Packaging Requirements

Shipper must package freight to withstand LTL transit. Improper packaging voids liability.

Item 120: Shipment Documentation

A Bill of Lading is required. BOL corrections incur a $15 fee.

Item 130: Crating Requirements for Machines and Used Auto Parts

Machines, machinery, equipment, and used auto parts must be fully crated. Fully crated means the unit is enclosed in a rigid crate and secured to the skid inside it. Shrink wrap, blankets, straps, banding alone, or an open skid isn't a crate.

Freight in this category that moves uncrated or partially crated travels at the shipper's risk. Warp's insurance won't cover it, and no claim for damage, shortage, or loss on that freight will be paid. Used auto parts are included in this rule: engines, transmissions, transaxles, differentials, axles, transfer cases, cylinder heads, turbochargers, and any other used mechanical assembly pulled from a vehicle.

Item 140: Fluids in Engines, Machines, and Equipment

Warp won't accept any engine, transmission, machine, or piece of equipment that has liquids in it. Oil, coolant, fuel, hydraulic fluid, and every other liquid must be fully drained and every open port capped or plugged before pickup. Note "Fluids Drained" on the Bill of Lading.

A unit that still holds liquid can be refused at pickup or at the dock. If it ships and it leaks, the shipper is responsible for the cleanup and for damage to other freight in the trailer, and no claim on that unit will be paid.

Section 2: Accessorial Definitions & Charges

Charges other carriers add. We don't.

Full Accessorial Schedule

Storage Details

Storage starts the day freight is scanned on the delivering dock. If scanned on Thursday, the first free day is Friday. If scanned on Friday, the first free day is Monday.

Cubic Capacity Rule

No cubic capacity rules under Warp LTL. Legacy carriers apply a minimum density floor of 6 lbs per cubic foot and reclassify freight that falls below it — often bumping to class 125 or 150, inflating the invoice after the fact. This doesn't happen on Warp. External carriers apply their own rules when used.

Linear Foot Rule

No linear foot rules under Warp LTL. Legacy carriers cap at 12–15 linear feet before surcharges apply. Warp prices per pallet. No linear foot penalties. External carriers apply their own rules when used.

Limited Access Locations

Malls, strip malls, restaurants, military bases, schools, hospitals, prisons, places of worship, mines, construction sites, farms, golf courses, storage units.

Prohibited Services

Excessive declared value, blind shipment, COD, freeze protect, HazMat, pallet exchange.

Liability

$2.50/lb, max $1,000, exclusions apply (see Section 4). Excluded items will not be covered. Machines, machinery, equipment, and used auto parts that aren't fully crated are excluded (see Item 130).

Proof of Delivery (POD) must be signed at delivery with the damage, the shortage, or the missing pieces written on it. If the POD is signed clean, Warp won't cover the claim. Concealed damage will not be considered if it wasn't noted on the POD at the time of delivery.

Pallet Rate Program

One pallet ≤ 50×50×85" and ≤ 2,000 lbs. Overhang and every extra 50" counts as an additional pallet space.

Section 3: Rating Provisions

Item 500: Pallet Rate Program

A pallet space equals 50"×50"×85" and ≤ 2,000 lbs. Overhang counts toward dimensions. Additional pallet charges apply in 50" increments.

• Example: 150" long = charged as 3 skids
• Example: 60×60 = charged as 4 skids

Item 510: Linear Foot & Cubic Capacity Rules

No LTL cubic or linear foot rules apply under Warp LTL. External carriers apply their own rules when used.

Section 4: Liability & Claims

Item 600: Standard Liability

Liability limited to $2.50/lb, maximum $1,000. Excluded items include glass, mirrors, bulbs, stone (unless crated), vape items, improperly packaged freight, and any machine, machinery, equipment, or used auto part that isn't fully crated (see Item 130).

This is base tariff liability. Under contract, Warp carriers carry Carmack Amendment liability up to $100,000 per shipment. Additional cargo insurance up to $1,000,000 per shipment is available through Falvey — $0 deductible on LTL under $10K, 0.30% of declared value. Legacy LTL standard liability: $1–$2/lb. The exclusions above apply to every layer of that coverage. A machine or used auto part that isn't fully crated isn't covered by base tariff liability, by carrier liability, or by added cargo insurance.

Item 610: Filing of Claims

Claims can only be filed by the customer paying freight charges to Warp. Filings by shippers, consignees, or third parties who are not Warp's actual paying party will not be accepted.

Item 620: Claim Requirements

The POD must be signed at delivery with any damage, shortage, missing pieces, or tampering written on it. If the POD is signed clean, Warp won't cover the claim.

A photo taken later, an email, or a phone call doesn't replace the notation on the POD. Concealed damage found after a clean POD isn't covered.

Item 630: Freight Charges

Freight charges will only be considered in the claim if no freight was delivered. If part of the shipment was delivered without damage, total freight charges are due.

Section 5: Prohibited Commodities

HazMat, hazardous waste, CBD/THC/cannabis, carbon black, explosives, firearms, ammunition, furs, taxidermy, live plants/animals, artwork, antiques, museum items, precious metals/stones, and bulk liquids are prohibited.

Engines, transmissions, machines, and equipment that still hold oil, coolant, fuel, hydraulic fluid, or any other liquid are also prohibited and won't be accepted. Drain the unit, cap every port, and note "Fluids Drained" on the BOL (see Item 140).

Section 6: Payment Terms

Item 700: Credit Terms

Invoices due within 15 days.

Item 710: Credit Card Payments

3.95% fee applies to all credit card payments.
