LTL Tariff

Warp LTL Tariff — Version 1.2

This tariff governs all LTL shipments transported by Warp unless superseded by agreement. Includes accessorial definitions and charges, rating provisions, liability and claims, prohibited commodities, and payment terms.

Section 1 — General Provisions

Item 100: Governing Publications

This tariff governs all LTL shipments transported by Warp unless superseded by agreement. External LTL carriers' published rules apply when they handle freight.

Item 110: Packaging Requirements

Shipper must package freight to withstand LTL transit. Improper packaging voids liability.

Item 120: Shipment Documentation

A Bill of Lading is required. BOL corrections incur a $15 fee.

Storage Details

Storage starts the day freight is scanned on the delivering dock. If scanned on Thursday, the first free day is Friday. If scanned on Friday, the first free day is Monday.

Cubic Capacity Rule

No cubic rules under Warp LTL. External carriers apply their own rules.

Linear Foot Rule

No linear foot rules under Warp LTL. External carriers apply their own rules.

Limited Access Locations

Malls, strip malls, restaurants, military bases, schools, hospitals, prisons, places of worship, mines, construction sites, farms, golf courses, storage units.

Prohibited Services

Excessive declared value, blind shipment, COD, freeze protect, HazMat, pallet exchange.

Liability

$2.50/lb, max $1,000, exclusions apply (see Section 5). Excluded items will not be covered.

Proof of Delivery (POD) must be signed as damaged, torn, tampered, or missing boxes for claim to be considered. Concealed damage will not be considered if POD is not documented at the time of delivery.

Pallet Rate Program

One pallet ≤ 50×50×85" and ≤ 2,000 lbs. Overhang and every extra 50" counts as an additional pallet space.

Section 3 — Rating Provisions

Item 500: Pallet Rate Program

A pallet space equals 50"×50"×85" and ≤ 2,000 lbs. Overhang counts toward dimensions. Additional pallet charges apply in 50" increments.

  • Example: 150" long = charged as 3 skids
  • Example: 60×60 = charged as 4 skids

Item 510: Linear Foot & Cubic Capacity Rules

No LTL cubic or linear foot rules apply under Warp LTL. External carriers apply their own rules when used.

Section 4 — Liability & Claims

Item 600: Standard Liability

Liability limited to $2.50/lb, maximum $1,000. Excluded items include glass, mirrors, bulbs, stone (unless crated), vape items, and improperly packaged freight.

Item 610: Filing of Claims

Claims can only be filed by the customer paying freight charges to Warp. Filings by shippers, consignees, or third parties who are not Warp's actual paying party will not be accepted.

Item 620: Claim Requirements

POD must note any visible damage, shortage, or tampering. Failure to note exceptions may void eligibility for claims.

Item 630: Freight Charges

Freight charges will only be considered in the claim if no freight was delivered. If part of the shipment was delivered without damage, total freight charges are due.

Section 5 — Prohibited Commodities

HazMat, hazardous waste, CBD/THC/cannabis, carbon black, explosives, firearms, ammunition, furs, taxidermy, live plants/animals, artwork, antiques, museum items, precious metals/stones, and bulk liquids are prohibited.

Section 6 — Payment Terms

Item 700: Credit Terms

Invoices due within 15 days.

Item 710: Credit Card Payments

3.95% fee applies to all credit card payments.
