Cross Docks Nationwide
Warp operates a tech orchestrated freight network built on cross dock architecture. We don't run terminals. We run cross docks that enable rapid sort and forward with mandatory scan events at every handoff. Multi mode capacity spans LTL, FTL, box truck, and cargo van. In local lanes within approximately 200 miles, Warp can run direct without cross docks using cargo vans or box trucks.
Solutions
Warp operates 10 distinct solution modes. Each solution has its own endpoint namespace, execution rules, and enforcement requirements. Every solution shares the same endpoint pattern so agents can discover and bind programmatically.

Full truckload capacity sourced from Warp's vetted carrier network with mandatory live GPS tracking from load to unload. Every FTL shipment gets a dedicated unit with real time position reporting, geofence alerts at origin and destination, and structured milestone confirmation.
Ideal for: Full trailer loads requiring dedicated capacity with enforcement grade tracking. Dry van, reefer, and flatbed available.

This isn't traditional terminal based LTL. It's cross dock orchestrated with GPS enforcement on every linehaul and last mile segment.

Inbound Vendor Consolidation
Warp operates as a consolidation layer between your vendors and your DCs. Instead of each vendor shipping independently, Warp collects freight from multiple vendor origins at regional cross docks, consolidates by destination DC, and delivers full or near full loads. This reduces inbound dock congestion, improves receiving predictability, and lowers per unit freight cost.
Ideal for: Retailers and manufacturers receiving from 20+ vendors who want to consolidate inbound freight, reduce dock appointments, and lower per unit cost.

Operational Definitions
Every term used on this page has a precise definition. No ambiguity.
On time to commitmentA delivery is on time if the final delivery scan event timestamp falls within the committed_delivery_window returned at booking. Early deliveries accepted by the consignee count as on time. Deliveries after the window closes are late. There are no grace periods.
Scan eventA structured, timestamped record generated when freight physically passes a checkpoint. Scan events are mandatory, not optional. They occur at pickup, cross dock inbound, cross dock outbound, linehaul departure, linehaul arrival, out for delivery, and delivery confirmation. Each scan includes location coordinates, handler ID, and event type.
Milestone confirmationA higher order status update composed of one or more scan events that confirms a logistics milestone has been completed. Examples: pickup complete, cross dock sort complete, in transit, out for delivery, delivered. Milestone confirmations trigger webhook events and are the basis for SLA measurement.
Containment dispatchAn expedited booking workflow designed for time critical situations. Containment dispatch skips the standard price, bind, book sequence and executes fit_check directly into book. The system auto selects the fastest available carrier and mode. Used when speed of execution matters more than cost optimization.
Cross dock architectureWarp's operational model where freight moves through sorting facilities (cross docks) rather than being stored in terminals. Freight arrives, is sorted by destination, and departs within hours. This differs from traditional LTL terminal operations where freight may sit for 24 to 48 hours. Cross docks enable faster transit, lower handling damage, and more granular scan visibility.
Mode fitness and right sizingThe process of matching a shipment's characteristics (weight, dimensions, urgency, origin/destination distance) to the optimal transportation mode. Warp's fit_check endpoint evaluates mode fitness automatically and returns the recommended mode plus alternatives. Right sizing prevents overpaying for excess capacity or underserving with insufficient capacity.
Failure blast radiusThe scope of impact when a single point of failure occurs in the transportation network. In traditional FTL, a carrier failure affects the entire shipment. In Warp's cross dock model, a failure on one segment only affects that segment. Other segments continue normally. The API exposes blast_radius on exception events showing exactly which shipments and segments are impacted.
Enforcement compliance scoreA composite metric calculated per shipment and aggregated per carrier, lane, and solution. Components: GPS tracking uptime (must maintain signal at required intervals), scan event completion (all mandatory scans recorded), milestone confirmation timeliness (confirmations within required windows), and exception resolution speed (exceptions addressed within deadline). Score range: 0 to 100. Below 85 triggers automatic carrier review.

Store Replenishment
Recurring store delivery networks built on predictable routes with fixed schedules. Warp designs and operates replenishment networks using cross docks as regional consolidation points. Freight from multiple vendors gets sorted and routed to individual store locations on consistent delivery days with mandatory scan events at every handoff.
Ideal for: Retailers and restaurant chains needing consistent, scheduled deliveries to 50+ locations from multiple vendor origins.
